Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Corporate Management and Artificial Intelligence are screened for plagiarism and text similarity before entering the peer review process. The journal uses plagiarism-detection software, such as Turnitin or other reliable similarity-checking tools, to identify potentially duplicated, improperly cited, or previously published content.

The similarity report is reviewed by the editorial team and is not assessed solely on the basis of the overall similarity percentage. Editors also examine the sources, distribution, and context of matched text. Properly quoted materials, references, standard methodological expressions, and unavoidable technical terminology may be excluded from the assessment.

Manuscripts containing plagiarism, excessive similarity, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, citation manipulation, or unattributed use of another person’s work may be returned for revision or rejected. Serious cases discovered after publication may result in correction, retraction, and notification of the authors’ institutions.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted material is original and that ideas, quotations, data, figures, tables, and other sources are properly cited. The journal recommends that the similarity level should generally not exceed 20%, with no substantial similarity from a single source.
